In order to ensure that the first group of international students studying in China can successfully complete their studies and graduate, our school held the 2024 (inaugural) graduation symposium for international students on the afternoon of May 9th. The Party Committee Secretary, Mr. Xu De, and the Deputy Party Committee Secretary and President, Mr. Pan Zhiming, attended the meeting and delivered speeches. The symposium was presided over by Mr. Guo Zhaobing, a member of the Party Committee Standing Committee and Vice President of the school.

The President Pan Zhiming pointed out that the convening of this symposium is to extend warm congratulations to the international students who are about to successfully complete their studies. He expressed deep gratification for their courage in overcoming difficulties and persisting in their studies, and was pleased with the achievements they have made at Suqian University.

As you are about to part ways with your alma mater, I have three hopes for you: First,I hope you canpersist in unyielding effort and struggle,continue to learn and strive to go further on the academic path to achieve higher accomplishments, integrate knowledge with actionandapplying the knowledge you have gained here into your future career.

Second,I hope you willbe ambassadors for promoting your alma mater. Remember the school motto 'Clarity of Virtue, Perfection of Goodness, Extensive Learning, and Practical Application.' Carry forward the school spirit of 'Practicality, Innovation, Unity, and Dedication,' and promote the spirit of 'Three Innovations.' Share the touching stories of your time at Suqian College with your friends and family.

Third,I hope you canbecome cultural exchange envoys who 'understand China, befriend China, and love China.' Uphold the spirit of mutual learning and emulation, apply the knowledge you have gained to practice, become disseminators of China's excellent traditional culture, and use culture as a bond to tell Chinese stories and spread the voice of China.

The Vice President Mr.Guo Zhaobing pointed out that over the past two years, the international students have traveled thousands of miles across the oceans to come to SuqianUniversity, where they have spent an unforgettable time together. Here, they have studied, lived, and grown, not only gaining knowledge but also making friendships and accumulating experiences. The arrival of the international students has injected new vitality into our campus, making it more diverse and international.

At the meeting, SecretaryMr.Xu De presented awards to the students who won the second prize in the national final of the Brand Planning Competition for international students group in the National College Students Business Elite Challenge. Representatives from the Academic Affairs Office,Ms.Wang Fengxia, teacher representativeMr.Ji Zhenglong, counselor representativeMs.Yang Chunyan, and international student representativesMissLin Meixiu,Mr.Meng Shan,MissXiu Ying, andMissWang Shufang each made speeches and exchanged views.
