In order to deepen international exchange and cooperation and explore new models for cultivating sports talents, on May 13th, the Chinese representative of Monchengladbach, Germany, and the Chinese General Manager of Borussia Mönchengladbach Football Club, Martin Thiess, visited the school for an exchange. The International Office convened a symposium in the conference room on the second floor of the administrative building, which was presided over by Mr. Shen Gang, Deputy Director of the International Cooperation and Exchange Office. The leadership of the School of Physical Education, teacher representatives, and relevant personnel from the International Cooperation and Exchange Office attended the meeting.
At the beginning of the meeting, Deputy Director Shen Gang first introduced the basic situation and educational characteristics of Suqian University.. Subsequently, Yu Hua, the Vice Dean of the School of Physical Education, detailed the development history, faculty strength, curriculum settings, and future cooperation intentions of the School of Physical Education.
Martin Thiess, the Chinese General Manager of Borussia Mönchengladbach Football Club, introduced the existing cooperation foundation and the potential for future cooperation, expressing the hope to establish a long-term and stable cooperative relationship with Suqian University.
During the meeting, both parties conducted in-depth discussions on future cooperation. They reached a consensus on signing a cooperation framework agreement and introducing four high-quality courses from the German side, including rehabilitation training, nutrition, sports management, and football training.
