On May 18th, Mr. Zhu zhangguangran, President of the Spain-China Friendship and Investment Promotion Association, visited the school for an exchange, accompanied by Mr. Zhang Sheng, Deputy District Head of Suqian District Government, and Mr. Zhang Bangqun, a fourth-level researcher from the Municipal Finance Bureau.The International Office held a meeting on the second floor of the Administrative Building, where Mr. Xu Lichun, a member of the Party Committee and the Head of the Organization Department, participated. The meeting was chaired by Ms. Xu Xiaomei, the foreign affairs consultant of Suqian University.
At the beginning of the meeting, Mr. Xu Lichun, a member of the Standing Committee, introduced the basic situation of Suqian University and an overview of its international exchanges.Subsequently, President Mr. Zhu Zhangguangran introduced the University of Girona in Spain, which has a history of over 400 years, and discussed potential future collaborations with our institution. He hopes that in the near future, our school will engage in practical and substantive cooperation with the University of Girona in Spain.
Finally, both sides conducted in-depth discussions on future cooperation and reached a consensus on cooperation in areas such as student exchange, teacher training, joint cultivation of undergraduate and graduate students, and mutual visits at the senior level between the two institutions.
